Impacto de diferentes aditivos na acidose e na fermentação ruminal em cordeiros

O objetivo foi avaliar a acidose e a fermentação ruminal em ovelhas em terminação suplementadas com diferentes aditivos. Foram utilizadas quatro ovelhas fistuladas no rúmen. Os tratamentos foram: 1) Controle (Dieta basal); 2) LEV (Dieta basal + Saccharomyces cerevisiae); 3) ION (Dieta basal + Monensina sódica); 4) TE (Dieta basal + Mistura de probióticos, prebióticos, simbióticos e enzimas). A dieta continha 14% de PB e 2.962 Mcal/kg de EM. A ingestão de matéria seca (IMS) foi avaliada. As amostras de fluido ruminal foram avaliadas quanto ao pH, à concentração de nitrogênio amoniacal (NH3) e à concentração de ácidos graxos voláteis (AGV). Os dados foram analisados por meio de um projeto de quadrado latino 4 x 4. O pH, a concentração de AGV e a relação acético:propiônico não foram diferentes (P>0.05) entre os tratamentos. A IMS foi o mesmo entre os tratamentos (P>0.05). O pH foi diferente (P<0.01) entre os tempos. A interação tratamento x tempo (P<0.05) foi diferente para o NH3. Para as concentrações de ácido acético, ácido propiônico butírico e ácido graxo volátil total, foi encontrada uma diferença (P<0.05) para a interação tratamento × tempo. O uso de uma mistura de probióticos, prebióticos e simbióticos não melhorou a fermentação ruminal de cordeiros na fase de terminação.
