Similaridade genética de sorovares de Salmonella isolados de granjas de suínos em Sinaloa, México

Resumo

A Salmonella é um importante patógeno como agente causador de doenças gastroentéricas por meio do consumo de alimentos contaminados. Para determinar a similaridade genética dos sorovares de Salmonella, 340 amostras de fezes e tecido do íleo foram coletadas de suínos de diferentes idades e estágios fisiológicos de duas granjas localizadas na zona central do Estado de Sinaloa; as amostras de íleo foram coletadas em um abatedouro TIF. A similaridade genética dos sorovares foi realizada por digestão com a enzima de restrição XbaI e eletroforese em gel de campo pulsado (PFGE). Salmonella e os sorovares Anatum, Seftenberg, Untipable, Javiana, Tokoin, Newport, Typhimurium, Weltevreden, Serrakunda, Muenchen, Grupo C2, Grupo E1 (E2-E4), Grupo E1, Grupo C1 e Grupo F foram isolados de 32 das amostras testadas. O sorovar Anatum isolado com mais frequência teve uma similaridade genética de 87.5 – 100 %, o Grupo E1 87.5 -100 %, o Serrekunda 88.9 -100 %, o Muenchen 100 %, o Senftenberg 96.6 % e o Newport 75.9 %; esses sorovares tiveram um coeficiente de Jaccard maior que 0.75 na análise de PFGE e, portanto, foram considerados clones bacterianos. Em conclusão, a porcentagem de similaridade genética observada foi alta, indicando uma possível fonte de contaminação cruzada nas unidades de produção de suínos analisadas.
